About NebourHood

NebourHood is a Property Technology (PropTech) marketplace that connects Property Owners with Interior Designers, Architects, Construction Professionals, Contractors, and other home improvement Service Professionals across India.

The platform operates as:

  • A PropTech platform for property-service discovery and connection
  • A property marketplace for requirements, profiles, and portfolios
  • A lead marketplace where professionals can purchase relevant project opportunities
  • A professional discovery platform for search, comparison, and consultation workflows
  • A home improvement platform spanning design, construction, renovation, and related services

Typical lead workflow

  1. 1. Property Owner submits a property requirement
  2. 2. NebourHood applies verification and quality checks where applicable
  3. 3. A lead is published to eligible Service Professionals
  4. 4. A Service Professional purchases the lead through the platform
  5. 5. The professional contacts the Property Owner using the information provided for that workflow

NebourHood provides the digital infrastructure for discovery, lead delivery, booking, and payments. It does not replace direct agreements, quotations, supervision, or project execution between users.

How We Use Information

Account creation

Register Property Owners and Service Professionals, maintain profiles, and manage platform access.

Verify phone numbers and reduce fake submissions in requirement and calculator workflows.

Detect suspicious activity, protect accounts, and reduce misuse of marketplace features.

Spam detection

Identify low-quality or automated submissions before they affect other users.

Lead matching

Match property requirements with relevant professionals based on service, geography and project context.

Lead delivery

Deliver purchased lead information to Service Professionals according to the lead type purchased.

Customer support

Respond to account, billing, technical and privacy enquiries.

Payments

Process platform fees, lead purchases, memberships, and consultation booking payments through authorised payment providers.

Recommendations

Improve discovery of professionals, projects and relevant platform content.

Platform improvement

Monitor performance, fix bugs, and refine user experience across devices.

Marketing

Send service-related communications and measure campaign effectiveness where permitted and configured.

Legal compliance

Meet applicable legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations.

Lead Privacy

Lead privacy is central to the NebourHood marketplace. Property requirement details and contact information are not shown publicly to all users. Access depends on the feature, lead type, and purchase or booking workflow involved.

  • Requirement summaries may be visible to professionals browsing available leads
  • Full contact details are shared according to lead purchase or booking rules
  • Consultation booking contact details may remain restricted until a booking is accepted
  • NebourHood uses verification, OTP, and platform controls to reduce fake or abusive submissions

Shared Leads

A Shared Lead may be purchased by more than one Service Professional, typically up to three professionals depending on lead availability and platform configuration.

When a professional purchases a shared lead, they receive access to the lead information needed to contact the Property Owner about that requirement. Property Owners should expect that multiple professionals may reach out for shared leads.

Exclusive Leads

An Exclusive Lead, also referred to as a Non-Shared lead, is intended for purchase by one Service Professional through the exclusive lead route.

This model is designed to reduce competition for a single requirement by limiting exclusive lead access to one purchasing professional, subject to the lead still being available on the platform.

OTP Verification

NebourHood uses OTP verification in selected workflows to confirm phone numbers and improve trust in requirement and calculator submissions.

  • Reduce fake or duplicated lead submissions
  • Discourage spam and low-quality enquiries
  • Increase confidence for Service Professionals purchasing leads
  • Improve overall lead quality on the marketplace

OTP messages are delivered through an SMS provider such as 2Factor.in. NebourHood receives verification status rather than storing OTPs as reusable credentials.

Payment Security

NebourHood uses Razorpay for payment processing across lead purchases, memberships, consultation booking fees, and related platform transactions.

Payments are initiated through Razorpay checkout
Connections are protected using HTTPS / SSL-TLS
Razorpay is a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway
Payment verification occurs server-side before access is granted
Refund handling follows platform terms and booking or purchase rules

NebourHood uses trusted third-party providers for payments, storage, authentication, messaging, analytics, and email delivery. These providers process information only as needed to deliver their service to NebourHood.
