Please review these rules before creating or updating your profile or publishing a property requirement.

The essentials

Accurate Information

Provide complete, current and truthful profile and project details.

Protect Your Privacy

Enter phone numbers, email addresses and other contact information only in designated fields.

Genuine Requirements

Post only real and active property requirements that you are authorised to submit.

Respectful Communication

Communicate professionally with Service Professionals and avoid harassment, spam or abusive behaviour.

1. About These Rules

NebourHood Property Owner Rules help people publish clear, genuine Property Requirements without exposing unnecessary personal information. Accurate posting improves the context Service Professionals receive, reduces avoidable contact and supports safer marketplace use.

These Property Owner posting guidelines work with the Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines. Contact NebourHood support when the current account interface does not provide the action you need.

2. Who These Rules Apply To

These rules apply to registered Property Owners, homeowners, property buyers, investors, authorised tenants, authorised family members, business representatives, and anyone posting a residential or commercial requirement through a Property Owner account.

The person posting should have permission to submit the project and any contact, property, family, tenant, employee or client information included. Authorisation to post does not permit unnecessary disclosure of another person’s private data.

3. Profile Completion Guidelines

The current Property Owner account model stores a name, email and mobile number, with optional alternative email, alternative phone and WhatsApp details. It can also store profile completion status and phone verification status. City, area, property type, scope and project timing are requirement fields in the working estimator flow rather than confirmed Profile fields.

  • Use your real, current name and contact details.
  • Complete every field the active account form marks as required.
  • Do not impersonate another person or create a misleading identity.
  • Do not use fake names to deceive Service Professionals.
  • Do not create multiple accounts to manipulate postings or marketplace access.
  • Update supported details when they change.

4. Profile Editing Guidelines

Property Owners should keep permitted profile information accurate and should not transfer an account or replace account details with information intended to impersonate someone else. Contact changes may require confirmation where the current flow supports it.

5. Contact Information Rules

Phone numbers, WhatsApp numbers, email addresses, social profiles, website links, messaging IDs and address information belong only in fields specifically designed for that information. Do not place them in a project title, requirement description, budget field, property detail, image caption, uploaded image, document, comment or unrelated public field.

This separation protects privacy, reduces spam and misuse, preserves the platform’s content structure, and helps NebourHood apply the intended visibility to Contact Information.

6. Property Requirement Posting

A valid Property Requirement should explain the service needed, property type, project location, approximate budget, expected timeline, scope, current site or property status, and any additional context that helps a Service Professional understand the project. Where the active form supports it, use relevant images, floor plans and preferred contact details.

The working estimator submission currently records name, phone, email, optional WhatsApp, property type and size, scope of work, timeline, city, area, PIN code, description, budget range and estimated budget data. The standalone Get Estimate route is currently an entry-point placeholder, so its final form fields still require product confirmation.

Common valid requirement types

Home interiors, modular kitchens, renovation, office interiors, architecture, construction, civil work, landscape design, furniture work, turnkey interiors and commercial renovation.

Quality standard

The requirement must be genuine, current, accurate, relevant, lawful, authorised, clearly written and free from prohibited content.

7. Property Requirement Editing

Update a requirement when its budget, timeline, scope, location, property type or supporting information changes, or when the project is paused, completed or cancelled. Avoid changing an existing requirement into an unrelated project, making misleading edits after professionals have obtained access, or leaving an inactive project open.

8. Property Requirement Renewal

A renewal may extend or republish an eligible active requirement where the product provides that option. Review the entire requirement first; do not renew a completed, cancelled, false or stale project, and do not assume renewal guarantees Service Professional responses.

Renewal flags and historical fields exist in the data model, but no active Property Owner renewal or paid-renewal workflow was confirmed. Any future price, validity and entitlement must be shown on the Property Owner posting page or checkout rather than hardcoded here.

9. Information Accuracy

Property Owners are responsible for the accuracy of names, contact details, property location, authority to post, property type, budget, timeline, project size, description, images, floor plans, documents and site details they submit.

Inaccurate details can mislead professionals, reduce response quality, cause disputes, delay the project or lead to content review and removal. Approximate estimates are acceptable where exact information is not available, but clearly identify them as approximate and update them when better information becomes available.

10. Upload Guidelines

Appropriate uploads

Relevant property or site photos, floor plans, inspiration references, existing layout drawings and requirement-related documents that you have permission to share.

Do not upload

Identity documents unless specifically requested through a secure process, banking data, passwords, OTPs, PINs, card data, unrelated personal photos, illegal or obscene content, unlicensed copyrighted material or confidential third-party information.

Redact unnecessary names, signatures, account details, faces, vehicle numbers, exact addresses and other sensitive information. Upload functions differ by product flow, so these rules apply whenever a current or future requirement form permits files.

11. Privacy and Confidentiality

Share only the personal information needed for the project. Do not upload another person’s information without permission, publish private conversations, expose family or client data, or share unredacted financial documents. Review images for visible addresses, number plates and personal documents before submission.

Use platform communication tools where available and read the NebourHood Privacy Policy for information about personal-data handling.

12. Communication Rules

Communicate respectfully and honestly, avoid harassment, discrimination, abusive language and repeated unnecessary messages, and tell professionals when the project is closed. Do not make misleading promises, ask a professional to pay for favourable consideration, or disclose one professional’s confidential quotation to another without permission.

13. Prohibited Content

Do not submit or transmit content that creates unlawful, abusive, deceptive, unsafe or unrelated platform activity.

Obscene or sexually explicit content
Illegal content or unlawful instructions
Hate speech or discriminatory content
Threats, harassment or encouragement of violence
Fraudulent information, scams or fake promotions
Malware, phishing links or credential requests
Copyrighted material used without permission
Another person’s data without consent
Banking credentials, passwords, OTPs or PINs
Spam, unrelated advertising or political campaigning

14. Duplicate and Fake Requirements

  • Do not repeatedly post the same active project.
  • Do not create fake requirements to test professionals or generate contacts.
  • Do not submit projects that do not exist or use misleading budgets and locations.
  • Disclose genuine market research rather than presenting it as an active project.
  • Do not use multiple accounts for the same project.
  • Do not post for another person without permission.

After a proportionate review, duplicate requirements may be consolidated, restricted, unpublished or removed where the platform supports that action.

15. Requirement Moderation

Requirements may be reviewed for relevance, completeness, safety, duplication, prohibited content, suspected fraud, category accuracy, misplaced Contact Information, misleading descriptions and technical issues. Estimator-created requirements are currently saved with a pending status, and the Product model contains approval and denial fields.

Where operationally supported, a review may lead to a correction request, formatting adjustment, restricted contact information, category correction, temporary unpublishing, removal or posting restriction. The reviewed code does not establish that every requirement receives a manual review, and the current admin lead tools do not provide a confirmed end-to-end requirement moderation workflow.

16. Profile or Requirement Removal

NebourHood may remove or restrict profile information or Property Requirements that violate these rules, applicable law, the Terms & Conditions or Community Guidelines. A proportionate response may involve explaining the issue, requesting correction, hiding content, removing prohibited material or restricting the relevant feature where those tools are available.

Fraud, serious safety risks, illegal content, impersonation, malware, repeated abuse or dangerous sensitive-data exposure may justify faster action. A formal automatic notice or removal-appeal workflow is not currently confirmed; users may contact support and request an account or content review, but this is not presented as a guaranteed appeal process.

17. Account Suspension or Termination

The administrative system supports restricting a Property Owner account. Any enforcement decision should consider severity, repetition, safety risk, fraud indicators, harm, cooperation and applicable law rather than applying the same response to every issue.

  1. Guidance or reminder
  2. Content correction request
  3. Warning
  4. Temporary feature restriction
  5. Temporary account suspension
  6. Permanent account termination
  7. Legal or regulatory reporting where required

These steps are a possible progression, not a promise that every case receives every stage. Contact support to ask for a review if you believe an account action is based on incorrect information.

18. User Responsibility

Property Owners remain responsible for their Account, submitted information, uploaded files, project decisions, professional selection, quotation review, credential checks, contracts, payment arrangements, site access, approvals, legal permissions and communication with professionals.

NebourHood facilitates marketplace connections. It does not guarantee project outcomes, professional acceptance, quotations, identity, credentials, workmanship, payment performance or completion timelines.

19. Reporting Problems

Report suspicious professionals, harassment, fake profiles, spam, fraud, improper payment requests, contact-information misuse, copyright issues, security concerns or technical problems. Preserve the profile URL, dates, relevant messages and screenshots where safe.

  1. Record the relevant profile, message or requirement details.
  2. Describe the concern and when it occurred.
  3. Keep supporting material without exposing more personal data.
  4. Open the Contact Us page or email support.
  5. Select the closest enquiry category.
  6. State clearly when an issue involves urgent safety or fraud.

20. Safety Recommendations

  • Verify professional identity and relevant licences.
  • Review portfolios carefully and ask who owns the work shown.
  • Request written quotations and compare more than one professional.
  • Confirm scope, materials, taxes, timelines and payment milestones in writing.
  • Avoid large undocumented advance payments.
  • Keep agreements, invoices and receipts.
  • Visit completed projects where practical and permitted.
  • Never share OTPs, PINs, passwords or banking credentials.
  • Report pressure, fraud indicators or suspicious behaviour.

21. Policy Updates

NebourHood may update these rules as products, safety needs and legal requirements change. The Last Updated date and version should change when a revision is published, and material changes may be communicated by account notice, email or website notice where appropriate.

Review the latest rules before posting or renewing a requirement. Updated rules apply from the displayed effective date and do not remove rights that cannot legally be excluded.
