NebourHood Service Professional Rules explain how to build a trustworthy Professional Profile and Portfolio. Accurate content helps Property Owners compare relevant experience, protects client privacy, reduces copied or fake work and supports confidence in the marketplace.
These rules work with the Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines. Contact NebourHood support when the current interface does not provide the action you need.
These rules apply to Interior Designers, Architects, Contractors, Construction Companies, Civil Engineers, Landscape Designers, Furniture Designers, Modular Kitchen Professionals, Renovation Companies and consultants publishing through NebourHood.
They cover individual professionals, studios, agencies, firms and businesses. Owners, employees and other authorised team members managing a business profile must also follow them and should have authority to change the account.
The current profile workflow can store personal and professional names, company details, experience, education, skills, services, specialisations, project and property types, service areas, team information, achievements, certificates, registrations, business descriptions, operating information, portfolio media and designated contact or social links.
Service Professionals can edit supported information through the protected Profile Builder. Changes must remain truthful; remove outdated services and update service areas when coverage changes.
A business-name change should reflect a genuine legal or branding change. Do not sell or transfer the account, replace one professional with an unrelated business, or use edits to impersonate another person. Contact changes may require confirmation where the active flow supports it.
Professional information should be accurate, relevant, complete, current, lawful, easy to understand and supported by evidence where necessary. Factual achievements are welcome when they can be substantiated.
Genuine awards, relevant certifications, documented registrations, accurate project counts, clear service descriptions and specific, provable experience.
“India’s number one designer,” “guaranteed cheapest,” “100% project success,” “government approved,” “award-winning,” “certified” or “Verified by NebourHood” without valid support.
Phone and WhatsApp numbers, email addresses, websites, social profiles, messaging IDs and office or personal addresses belong only in fields designed for Contact Information. Do not place them in headlines, About text, service descriptions, Project titles or descriptions, images, watermarks, captions, tags, review responses or unrelated fields.
This protects privacy, reduces spam, keeps Professional Profiles consistent and allows the platform to apply the intended visibility to contact details.
The live Project Upload supports a title, category, property or project type, scope of work, location, client name, plot or built-up/property size, rooms or stages, design style, duration, completion year, description, project-stage images and notes, a cover image and a YouTube or Vimeo tour where relevant.
Add accurate details for the Project you are showing, including services delivered, status, budget information, materials and collaborator credits when the available fields and context permit. Examples include residential and commercial interiors, architecture, construction, renovation, turnkey interiors, modular kitchens, offices, retail, landscapes and furniture work.
Every Project must be genuine, relevant, correctly categorised, authorised, professionally presented and free from prohibited or private information.
Use the current Edit Project workflow for Projects you own when a title, category, location, detail, completion status, attribution or image needs correction. Update privacy issues and misleading statements promptly and add better images when available.
Do not turn a genuine completed Project into an unrelated, fake or conceptual Project; create a new upload for different work. Do not remove another contributor’s proper credit or edit content to manipulate visibility. The backend ownership check limits edits and image uploads to the account associated with the Project.
Use clear, sharp, properly exposed, high-resolution and correctly oriented images that are relevant to the Project and work well on mobile and desktop. Upload original or high-resolution exports, keep orientation reasonably consistent, choose a strong horizontal cover image and combine useful wide views with details.
Avoid blurry or pixelated images, low-resolution screenshots, extreme darkness or overexposure, artificially enlarged files, large empty borders, broken or irrelevant files, near-duplicates, promotional text, Contact Information, excessive logos and distracting watermarks.
Reasonable cropping, straightening, exposure, colour, white-balance and minor perspective correction are acceptable when they do not misrepresent the Project. Removing an accidental distraction can be appropriate when it does not change the work shown.
Do not add unbuilt features, hide major defects, combine Projects into a false scene, change materials or layouts, remove another creator’s watermark, falsify a location or pair unrelated before-and-after images. The uploader supports a 3D Design stage, so label renders and visualisations clearly as concepts rather than completed photographs.
Write an original, concise description covering the Project overview, client requirement, your approach, key features and services delivered. Useful context may include the challenge, scope, materials or methods, important design decisions, outcome and your professional contribution.
Do not add Contact Information, keyword lists, copied text, fake awards, confidential client details, unsupported claims or repetitive location and service terms intended to manipulate search visibility.
Protect client names, phone numbers, email addresses, home addresses, property and financial documents, contracts, payment records, sensitive floor plans, security-system locations, private conversations, family photographs and personal belongings.
See the NebourHood Privacy Policy for information about personal-data handling.
You must own uploaded content or have permission to use it. Respect photographer rights and credit architects, designers, artists and collaborators where required; use logos, product photography and other protected materials lawfully.
Uploading does not transfer ownership to NebourHood beyond the licence described in the Terms & Conditions. Suspected infringement may lead to restriction or removal. No formal copyright portal was found, so report it through the Contact Us page with links and supporting evidence.
Never upload passwords, OTPs, UPI or card PINs, card details, banking passwords or full financial records.
Do not upload government identity documents unless specifically requested through a secure process, unnecessary client contacts, private contracts, confidential quotations, medical data or another person’s information without permission.
Review every document and Project Image, then crop, blur or redact sensitive details before upload.
Do not upload or transmit content that is unlawful, abusive, deceptive, unsafe, stolen, privacy-invasive or unrelated to professional discovery.
Duplicate or misleading content may be corrected, hidden, consolidated where supported, or removed after a proportionate review.
Do not create or buy fake reviews, review your own business through another account, exchange unrelated reviews, pressure users for praise or threaten someone over criticism. Do not place fake ratings or testimonials inside Project Images.
Respond respectfully and address the substance of genuine feedback. NebourHood may review reviews and professional claims under its Community Guidelines; this is not a claim that every review is manually checked.
NebourHood may review content for completeness, relevance, image quality, technical upload violations, duplicates, copyright concerns, restricted Contact Information, misleading claims, sensitive data, suspected fraud, incorrect categories, safety or Community Guideline violations.
Available technical controls reject unsupported files and oversized uploads. Project Images also have active/hidden and gallery-visibility states, while Projects and accounts have administrative status controls. No evidence was found that every upload receives manual review.
Where appropriate, action may include guidance, a correction request, rejecting an image, changing visibility, temporarily unpublishing or removing content, limiting uploads or reviewing the associated account.
NebourHood may restrict, unpublish or remove profile information, images or Projects that violate these rules, applicable law, the Terms & Conditions or Community Guidelines. A response may include explaining an issue, requesting correction, hiding content, replacing an unsuitable image or restricting repeated uploads.
Serious theft, copyright abuse, fraud, impersonation, malware, illegal or obscene content, privacy violations and safety risks may require faster action. A formal automatic removal-notice flow was not confirmed; use support to request review and provide the relevant evidence.
Action should reflect severity, repetition, fraud risk, copyright or privacy impact, harm, cooperation and applicable law. No formal appeal process was confirmed, but a Service Professional may contact support to request account review.
Service Professionals remain responsible for account security, profile accuracy, business claims, qualifications, images, descriptions, copyright permission, client consent, Contact Information, professional-law compliance, tax obligations, licences and registrations.
They are also responsible for quotations, contracts, project execution, workmanship, timelines and communication with Property Owners. NebourHood facilitates professional discovery and marketplace connections; it does not automatically endorse every professional, Project, image or claim.
Report stolen portfolio images, infringement, fake profiles, impersonation, harassment, fraud, content misuse, upload faults, incorrect removal, account-security concerns or unauthorised access.
These rules may change as the marketplace, upload tools or legal requirements evolve. The displayed Last Updated and effective dates should change with published revisions.
Material changes may be communicated through email, an account notification or a website notice where appropriate. Review the latest rules before publishing new Projects; updated rules apply from the displayed effective date.
