About NebourHood

NebourHood is a technology-enabled PropTech marketplace and lead platform connecting Property Owners with Interior Designers, Architects, Contractors, Construction Companies, Civil Engineers and other Property Service Professionals.

The Platform may help users:

  • Discover Service Professionals and browse profiles or projects
  • Publish property requirements and service enquiries
  • Purchase or redeem access to eligible leads
  • Communicate regarding potential projects
  • Display professional profiles, portfolios, and reviews where available

NebourHood generally facilitates introductions and access to platform tools. Unless expressly stated in writing for a specific service, NebourHood:

  • Is not the architect, designer, contractor, or project executor
  • Does not supervise construction or interior work
  • Does not control quotations offered by Service Professionals
  • Does not automatically become a party to contracts between users
  • Does not guarantee that a project will proceed or produce a particular commercial result from a lead

Acceptance of These Terms

You may accept these Terms when you:

  • Visit or browse the website
  • Create or use an account
  • Submit a property requirement
  • Publish a profile, project, or listing
  • Purchase or redeem a lead
  • Make a payment through the Platform
  • Use communication, booking, or marketplace features

Some features may require separate consent, checkout acknowledgements, or additional terms. Continued use after an update may indicate acceptance where legally valid, as explained in the Changes section below.

Eligibility

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under applicable Indian law. If you use NebourHood on behalf of a business or organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.

Minors may use the Platform only where legally permitted and, where required, under appropriate adult supervision. Users must comply with applicable laws, regulations, and professional obligations relevant to their activity on the Platform.

Account Registration

When registering or maintaining an account, you must:

  • Provide accurate and current information
  • Use a valid mobile number or email address
  • Complete OTP verification where required
  • Avoid impersonation or fraudulent registration
  • Avoid creating multiple accounts to manipulate the Platform
  • Maintain accurate professional or business details where applicable

NebourHood may request additional information where reasonably required for account administration, payment compliance, fraud prevention, platform safety, or legal obligations. NebourHood does not represent that every account, profile, or listing has been independently verified unless a specific feature expressly states otherwise.

Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials. Passwords, OTPs, and session access must not be shared with others. Report suspected unauthorised access promptly through Contact Us.

Activity performed through your account may be treated as authorised by you until NebourHood is notified of a security concern, subject to applicable law. NebourHood may temporarily restrict access when suspicious activity is detected. Dedicated two-factor authentication is not currently listed as a standard account feature.

Property Owner Responsibilities

Property Owners must:

  • Submit genuine requirements with accurate project information
  • Provide realistic location, budget, and timeline details where requested
  • Avoid fake, duplicate, or misleading requirements
  • Respond respectfully to professionals and avoid harassment or abusive communication
  • Independently review quotations, credentials, and agreements before engagement
  • Avoid sharing information they do not have permission to share
  • Update or close requirements where the Platform supports such status changes

Property Owners remain responsible for final decisions regarding professional selection, scope, materials, contracts, direct payments to professionals, site access, statutory approvals, and project timelines.

Service Professional Responsibilities

Service Professionals must:

  • Maintain accurate profiles and genuine portfolios
  • Disclose real experience and business information
  • Contact Property Owners professionally and only about relevant enquiries
  • Avoid repeated unwanted calls, messages, or spam
  • Use lead information only for the intended business opportunity
  • Avoid selling, transferring, or publishing lead information unless expressly permitted
  • Provide truthful quotations and comply with applicable professional, tax, licensing, and legal requirements
  • Protect confidential property and customer information

Purchasing or redeeming a lead does not guarantee a response, meeting, site visit, quotation opportunity, selection, signed contract, revenue, or project completion.

Leads and Marketplace Services

A “lead” on NebourHood generally refers to information submitted by a Property Owner about a potential property requirement. This may include service category, property type, city or area, approximate budget, timeline, requirement description, contact information, and other details voluntarily provided.

Lead availability can change. A lead may become sold, unavailable, closed, withdrawn, updated, expired, or invalidated due to suspected abuse or moderation action.

NebourHood may apply internal quality, eligibility, duplicate, or moderation rules without representing that every lead is independently verified.

Shared Leads

A Shared Lead may be made available to more than one eligible Service Professional, typically up to three depending on availability and the product shown at purchase or redemption.

Purchasing or redeeming a Shared Lead gives access to the available lead information but does not provide exclusivity. Multiple professionals may contact the same Property Owner.

  • Availability or stock indicators may change before checkout or redemption completes
  • Purchasing access does not guarantee engagement or conversion
  • Professionals must follow respectful contact practices and the Community Guidelines
  • Shared Lead information must not be redistributed or used for unrelated marketing lists

Non-Shared or Exclusive Leads

A Non-Shared Lead or Exclusive Lead is intended to be sold or allocated according to the exclusivity rules shown at the time of purchase or redemption through the exclusive route.

On NebourHood, exclusive lead products are generally designed for one purchasing professional through the exclusive workflow, subject to the actual product logic, inventory state, and redemption rules displayed in the account or checkout flow. NebourHood does not promise absolute exclusivity beyond the rules implemented for that product at the relevant time.

Product note: confirm the current exclusive-lead allocation rule in product configuration before changing customer-facing wording. If exclusivity is time-limited or conditional, the checkout and lead details screens should remain the controlling source of truth.

Lead Information and Verification

NebourHood may perform steps such as mobile OTP verification, basic completeness checks, duplicate screening, manual moderation, or category matching. These checks are intended to improve platform quality but do not guarantee identity, property ownership, budget accuracy, intent, project readiness, legality, financial capacity, or likelihood of conversion.

Where the term “qualified lead” appears in product or marketing materials, it should be understood as a lead that matches selected platform criteria, not as a guarantee of authenticity, exclusivity, or business outcome. Service Professionals must carry out their own verification and due diligence.

Lead Purchases

Before purchasing or redeeming a lead, you must review the lead details, lead type, price, and applicable product rules.

  • The amount charged is based on the information displayed at checkout or redemption
  • Access is generally linked to the purchasing account
  • Lead information must not be resold, publicly shared, or misused
  • Purchased lead information must be used only for legitimate business communication
  • NebourHood may retain transaction and redemption records
  • Confirmation may appear in Transaction Details or be sent to the registered email where configured

For digital lead access, a lead may be treated as delivered when the relevant contact or requirement information becomes available in your account, lead dashboard, transaction page, or other registered communication channel supported by the Platform.

Pricing, Taxes and Payments

Lead prices, membership prices, booking fees, and other service fees may change from time to time. Applicable taxes may be added and should be reviewed before payment is completed.

Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers such as Razorpay. NebourHood generally does not store complete card credentials. Payment providers operate under their own terms, privacy policies, and security practices. Failed, pending, or duplicate transactions will be handled according to payment records, provider responses, and the applicable refund policy.

Refunds and Cancellations

Refund and cancellation rules for digital lead purchases, duplicate charges, technical delivery failures, incorrect access, memberships, or booking fees are explained in the Lead & Refund Policy. That policy should be read together with these Terms and may provide the controlling detail for specific purchase types.

Refund requests may require supporting evidence and must be submitted within any time limits stated in the applicable policy. Nothing in these Terms excludes statutory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Indian law.

Professional Profiles

Service Professionals are responsible for the accuracy of profile information, including business name, services, experience, contact details, credentials, and service areas. Profiles must not contain false qualifications or impersonate another professional or business.

NebourHood may remove, restrict, or downgrade misleading, incomplete, or prohibited profile content. Profile visibility and ranking may change based on platform rules, account status, and product features. NebourHood does not guarantee traffic, leads, or enquiries from profile publication alone.

Projects, Portfolios and Listings

Users must own uploaded content or have permission to publish it. Project photographs, drawings, renders, plans, and descriptions must be lawful and accurate. Fake projects, stolen images, and misleading claims are prohibited.

  • AI-generated or conceptual renders should be identified where necessary to avoid misleading users
  • Required client or photographer permissions must be obtained before publication
  • Personal or confidential information should be removed before upload
  • Listings must use accurate descriptions and categories
  • Contact details should appear on profiles, not embedded as overlays in project images

Reviews and Ratings

Reviews and ratings should reflect genuine experiences where review features are available. Fake, paid, retaliatory, or manipulated reviews are prohibited. Users must not offer incentives solely in exchange for positive reviews.

NebourHood may moderate reviews that violate platform rules or applicable law. Moderation does not mean NebourHood endorses every published review. Where supported, professionals may be given a reasonable opportunity to respond to relevant feedback.

User-Generated Content

User-Generated Content includes profiles, projects, images, videos, reviews, messages, comments, requirements, descriptions, logos, and documents submitted through the Platform. You retain ownership of content you submit, subject to the rights you grant below.

You grant NebourHood a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, display, format, reproduce for platform delivery, create technical adaptations such as thumbnails, and promote the relevant listing or Platform feature where clearly disclosed. This licence is limited to operating, improving, and promoting the Platform and is subject to applicable privacy rights. It generally ends or becomes limited when content is deleted, except for backups, legal retention, or content already lawfully shared or referenced in transaction records.

Intellectual Property

NebourHood owns or licenses the website design, branding, logo, software, platform code, original platform text, graphics, databases, and compilations where protected by law. Users may not copy, scrape, bulk reproduce, reverse engineer protected software, or misuse NebourHood trademarks or branding.

Lawful rights such as fair dealing, statutory exceptions, and permitted linking remain unaffected where applicable.

Acceptable Use

Users must use NebourHood in a genuine, lawful, and respectful manner, including by:

  • Providing accurate information
  • Communicating professionally and at a reasonable frequency
  • Using contact details responsibly
  • Complying with the Community Guidelines
  • Cooperating with safety or abuse investigations where reasonably requested

Prohibited Activities

The following activities are prohibited on NebourHood:

Illegal use of the platform or services
Fraud, scams, or deceptive business practices
Impersonation of another person, business, or professional
Fake profiles, fake leads, fake projects, or fake reviews
Harassment, threats, discrimination, or hate speech
Obscene, unlawful, or infringing content
Malware, phishing, or credential theft
Spam or excessive unsolicited contact
Automated scraping, unauthorised crawling, or data harvesting
Lead redistribution, resale, or publication of purchased lead data
Sale or misuse of personal information obtained through NebourHood
Review manipulation or ranking manipulation
Payment fraud or circumvention of security features
Intellectual-property infringement
Creation of multiple accounts to evade restrictions or abuse promotions
Interference with platform operation, payments, or verification systems

See the Community Guidelines for additional trust and safety standards.

Communications

You may receive account communications, OTPs, transaction confirmations, lead-related alerts, security notices, service notices, support responses, and marketing messages where consent or law permits.

Transactional messages may be necessary for service operation. Marketing preferences may be managed separately where supported. Users must not misuse contact information obtained through NebourHood.

WhatsApp, SMS, and email communications may be delivered through third-party providers subject to their own policies and delivery conditions.

Third-Party Services and Links

NebourHood may integrate with or link to third-party services, including:

  • Razorpay: Payment processing for lead purchases, memberships, bookings, and related platform fees
  • Amazon Web Services (S3): Storage of uploaded images, documents, and profile assets
  • MongoDB Atlas: Database hosting for operational platform data
  • Google OAuth: Optional account sign-in where enabled
  • 2Factor.in: SMS OTP delivery and verification for phone numbers
  • Google Analytics (GA4): Website analytics when enabled in deployment configuration
  • Meta Pixel: Advertising and conversion measurement when enabled
  • Email SMTP provider: Transactional email for account and service communications

Third-party services have separate terms and privacy practices. Linking or integration does not automatically mean NebourHood endorses all third-party content or policies.

Platform Availability

Platform features may change, be maintained, interrupted, or vary by location, account type, or service. NebourHood may update, remove, or introduce features over time and will take reasonable steps to provide reliable service, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Where paid services are materially affected, remedies or refund handling, if any, should be assessed under the applicable purchase terms and Refund Policy rather than by automatic forfeiture without review.

Marketplace Relationship

Unless expressly stated for a specific service, Service Professionals are independent parties and Property Owners independently choose whom to contact or hire.

  • NebourHood does not employ listed professionals merely because they maintain a profile
  • NebourHood is not automatically an agent, partner, joint venture, or representative of users
  • NebourHood is generally not a party to contracts entered into between users

This section does not limit NebourHood's own legal obligations arising from its operation of the Platform.

User Agreements and Project Execution

Users are responsible for negotiating and documenting scope of work, deliverables, price, taxes, payment schedule, materials, timelines, design approvals, site conditions, warranties, change requests, cancellation, and dispute resolution.

NebourHood recommends written contracts, invoices, and documented approvals before work begins or payments are made directly between users. NebourHood does not control project execution unless a separate written service expressly states otherwise.

Disputes Between Users

Users should first attempt to resolve disputes professionally and preserve quotations, invoices, chats, and agreements. NebourHood support may receive reports or facilitate limited communication where available.

NebourHood does not automatically act as an arbitrator or guarantor of project outcomes. NebourHood may take account-related action for policy violations. Commercial and contractual disputes generally remain between the involved users unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Important Marketplace Notice

NebourHood helps Property Owners and Service Professionals discover and contact each other. Users are responsible for independently reviewing identities, credentials, project requirements, quotations, contracts, and payment arrangements before proceeding.

  • Lead matching does not equal independent verification of every detail
  • OTP verification confirms access to the submitted phone number at that time, not all project claims
  • Indicative prices, calculators, and budget ranges are not final quotations
  • NebourHood does not control quotations or project execution unless expressly stated in a separate written service agreement

Disclaimer of Warranties

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Platform is provided on an “as available” basis. NebourHood does not guarantee that every listing, lead, profile, review, or project description is accurate, complete, or current. Users must perform independent checks before relying on platform content.

NebourHood does not guarantee project conversion, commercial results, or uninterrupted service. Estimates, market ranges, and indicative prices are not binding quotations, and actual project costs may vary.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, rights, or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, NebourHood is generally not responsible for:

  • A professional not responding or a Property Owner not selecting a professional
  • Failed negotiations or project delays caused by users
  • Workmanship or performance of independent professionals
  • Disputes arising from separate user contracts
  • Loss caused by reliance on unverified user content
  • Third-party services outside NebourHood's reasonable control

These limitations distinguish NebourHood's platform services from transactions and project work between users. They do not exclude liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence where exclusion is not permitted, or statutory consumer rights that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.

Any monetary liability cap must be inserted only after legal review. Do not publish an arbitrary cap without qualified counsel approval.

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless NebourHood from claims arising out of your unlawful use of the Platform, uploaded content, infringement of third-party rights, fraud, breach of these Terms, misuse of lead data, or your project or contractual conduct, subject to applicable law and any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.

Suspension and Termination

NebourHood may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, terminate accounts, cancel fraudulent transactions, preserve records, or report matters to authorities where legally required.

Action may depend on severity, frequency, risk, fraud indicators, harm to users, and legal obligations. Where practical and lawful, NebourHood may provide notice, reason, or an opportunity to respond, but operational safety or legal requirements may require immediate action.

Suspension or termination may affect access to purchased lead information, memberships, or content visibility. Transaction records and content required for legal, security, billing, or dispute purposes may be retained as permitted by law and the Privacy Policy.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles that would require application of another jurisdiction's laws. Subject to mandatory consumer-protection and jurisdictional rights, courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India are proposed as the forum for disputes relating to these Terms.

Nothing in this section improperly prevents consumers from using forums legally available to them under applicable law.

Changes to These Terms

NebourHood may update these Terms from time to time. The Last Updated date at the top of this page will reflect the current version. Material changes may be communicated through email, account notice, or website notice where appropriate. Continued use after the effective date of an update may indicate acceptance where legally valid.

Users should review changes when notified or when using the Platform after an update. Earlier versions may be retained internally where feasible.
